I really did not want to come to the discussion boards because the reps I have talked to were very polite and sympathetic but after a week on the phones and many chats it seems that I cannot get any movement on an issue that should have been resolved by now. I contacted Verizon support last Friday about a problem I have had. The support supervisor at that time was very nice and offered to compensate me by sending me an item to correct the issue which I was grateful for and felt it would resolve the problem. Well that is where the real problem began. After almost a week now and calling back almost 10 times I get false promises to be called back by a supervisor or I am told the item will be shipped and arrive (I have been told that three times now and its not here yet). Now I am told oh a supervisor will escalate to their manager and you will get confirmation today (well no confirmation yet and not holding my breath honestly). I have the saved chat conversations and it seems that no one wants to "really" help me or the item would have been shipped. The order number is #[removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] and the location code is #[removed] . I just want Verizon to honor what they said they were going to do please.
Thank you pherson, I am aware but as you can see I have tried to call them a number of times and I get the run around and no call backs. I am trying other avenues as I know there are service reps here too. I just want this issue resolved and giving them a chance before going up to the executive level as I don't want to be that guy that just files off the handle, I want to keep it professional.
again THis is a peer to peer forum no "support supervisor" here .sometime V rep come here to assist customers but it does not happen right away ....like person said call customer service and ask for supervisor
Unfortunately, I think you are wasting your time on these boards if you are expecting Verizon customer support to provide any actual support. I was in a similar situation a week ago and went the same route...with nothing to show for it.
If you read through various posts, all of the responses from Verizon reps are non-committal, quasi-scripted statements that always end in either a question (to put the ball back into the OP's court) or a promise to send a private message (which I am guessing never happens). Every once in a while they provide a link to a site that does not come anywhere near addressing the poster's question/concern. It seems pretty clear to me that they are for appearances only and there is no intent or ability to help. I think these are either high school kids making minimum wage or an offshore agency hired to write some fluffy responses.
I recommend that you go the executive route. Good luck.
