Since June 2019, cell service in my area took a turn for the worse. Dropped calls, late texts, late voice mails, 4G drops, no service at all, calls not coming through and calls cutting out. It's frustrating because I use my cell phone for work. I turned on wifi calling, but this has only marginally helped. Neighbors and visitors have similar problems. Uber and Lyft drivers can't get consistent signals in our neighborhood. Some people said it was due to high bandwidth usage during the summer, but summer ended 3 months ago and service hasn't improved. Happens any time of day. I'm wondering if there is a problem at the nearby cell tower. I tried calling *611, but was referred to a digial chat assistant. I tried using the Support feature on the web site, but haven't found a choice for service problems. After a few stupid responses from the digital chat, I was finally referred to chat with a person. I've been on "chat" with someone who is trying to learn the process to refer me to a tech team person for over 40 minutes. This is really stupid. Why isn't there a simple number to call to report a problem? I believe it's actually easier to change service providers than it is to report a service problem. I'm hoping that through this community board I might get someone to contact me. If not, I will need to change service providers because I need reliable service and responsive customer service to keep my business running.
