I have noticed the same declining coverage around my house and now in my neighborhood too. I used to have 2-3 bars outside my house and always good coverage on the drive thru my neighborhood. Now I'm lucky to get 1-2 bars inside or outside and lately on the drive to my house has gone down to 2 bars and calls are breaking up and dropping! Central Florida area 34480

The issues I've been experiencing are almost identical to the first post here: about two years ago, I switched from 18GB plan to the basic unlimited plan when call drop and data speed substantially worsened. No, this is not some ephemeral problem that could have happened because of too many lines connecting in my area. The problem of call drop and reduced speed as well as highly variable speed (between <1 Mbps to >30Mbps) happened in the same geographic setting where I had zero issues previously.
Being a happy customer of Verizon for almost two decades, I wanted to believe it was some temporary problem. I made 15-20 calls to Verizon to resolve these issues and did a number of things including the change of SIM card. At this point, I have decided to switch to another but need to know more about other carriers.
You are not good anymore V.

I have the same problem and it's not just at my house it's all over. I can have full service of 5G and the speed for data is sooooo slow. I'm seriously considering switching, Verizon isn't what it used to be!

I was having similar issues in Easton PA area zip code 18042. We were unable to send any picture message from our house without it taking 10-20 minutes to go through. I ran speed tests and would get 0.1-1mbps down and up or it would just say test failed. We eventually were sent an LTE network extender and that has solved the issue in our home. But Verizon's signal and speeds in our area has gotten progressively worse in the past year. We had switched from Verizon to TMobile years ago and last year switched back. I'm now regretting that decision. I am thinking that it has something to do with the switch to 5g. I think Verizon is doing to much work in the background that's affecting the signal and quality of signal that customers are receiving.

I experience the same kind of service in our area in Northeast Alabama (35769). It seems like every time a big storm comes through we lose another tower that never comes back online. Fortunately, Verizon provided a broadband booster, but away from my house, service is spotty, at best. Would love to have someone come and survey our area and make improvements.
