Poor reception and dropped calls in Sugar Land, TX

I just moved to Sugar Land, TX and I only get 3G service inside or outside my home.  When calling someone, I can hear them, but they cannot hear me very well and calls frequently  drop.   The problem doesn't go away if I go outside either.  I have always had good reception everywhere else in the Houston area.  Is there anything I can do?

Not for sure what part of Sugar Land you're in, but I'm over around 6 & 59. I don't have any issues around town. I have noticed around Stafford I have some bad areas. Is it in a particular area of town, or anywhere around Sugar Land? Have you tried resetting your network in settings, or powering off your device, removing the SIM card for a few minutes, then replacing it and powering the phone back on?

Thanks for responding, good questions and feedback.  Its works just fine around town, just my immediate block.  If I go down to the next subdivision I get 2 bars and LTE.  I reset everything and it doesn't help.  Its mildly better upstairs, but no one can hear me on phone if I call from downstairs.  My work phone is Verizon and it doesn't work well either.  I switched to calling over wifi and that helps some, but people still say I sound very "echo-y" on the other end.  Plus when I do that, my devices all slow down big time, so not an option for when I need to work.  I checked the Verizon map before we moved and it showed we should be in a LTE area.  Any chance any Verizon support reps can look into it for me?

Maybe in a few days when the post reaches their queue of unanswered questions.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

NIKPAT2, we know how important it is to have the best service where you need it. Let’s get to the root cause of this problem. How long has it been like this? What zip code are you in? Besides your work phone, do any other Verizon users experience issues here?

Hi Mark, its been about 2 weeks since I moved to the new house.  Zip code is 77479.  Both of my Verizon phones have the same issue.  I spoke to a customer service rep who told me I was in a "marginal coverage area" I can do calling over Wifi and it gets a bit better but I still have to move around my house to find a spot where people can hear me.  If I don't switch to wifi calling, I consistently miss calls.
