I just downloaded my data usage and found that 11/19/2012 at 3:34 pm, I used 208 MB of data and on 11/19/2012 at 5:43 am I used 126 MB. How can I find out what in particularly I was doing that resulted in such high data usage?

Do you have your mi-fi secure? By secure I mean changing the SSID to something other than the default setting and also change the default password. That is assume you have it password protected to begin with.
Also if you use this for you PC it's possible your PC did some auto updates.

do you have your apps set to auto update? I don't know about iphone but on android you can set your apps to manually update and/or to update only over wi-fi. I can also disable background data.
