Received threatening calls from a restricted number. Is there any way Verizon is able to determine/unmask that number. Tried calling Verizon yesterday, spoke to someone offshore, she was just going by the books and put me on some spam call filter. I would have to imagine Verizon can determine the number coming into the network, even though it's masked.
If you receive another threatening call from a blocked numer, you can actually dial *57 immediately after said call ends. I have talked with Verizon about how much *57 costs, and the good news is there is no additional charge to dial *57. However, because the call information is actually sent from Verizon Wireless to law enforcement upon request, it is only to be used for situations similar to yours, not for anything else.
