Replacement phone - Need to erase all contacts

I am returning my old AllTel LG phone that was replaced by another due to a warranty issue. 

When I try to delete all Contacts, the device ask for a Lock Code entry. 

 Is there a default code that I can use todelete all contacts?

Let me type slower since my keyboard is not responding fast enough.  I have an AllTel LG phone to send back after its replacement.  I need to delete the contacts list.  Is there a default lock code to access the list for deleation?  Thanks

Your default lock code is normally the last 4 digits of your phone number.  If that doesn't work, try 0000.
