Rural customer wants to continue 16G, 24G, 32G options

Hello,  Sadly, the Verizon unlimited service does not work for rural customers.  The previous, select the size data you need options was expensive but worked well for rural customers.  Now, when I attempt to bump up from 16 to 24,  I cannot, as the 'recommended' change is for the 'unlimited'  This simply does not work with the 10G limit on hot spots or 4glte modems.  Could Verizon at least allow for those that do not want the 'unlimited plan' to at least continue bumping up and down the data plans for their shared service?

And you didn't read the reply fully. The larger than 8 GB tiered new Verizon Plans are available. However they are only available by calling customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from your phone. You cannot select them online anymore. Again the larger tiered plans can added to your account only by calling in and asking for it.

Albeit, all postpaid accounts whether it be an unlimited data plan or a set GB allowanceplan uses the same network. If you have a 16GB plan or the new unlimited plan, they both use the same network. If an allotted amount data NB plan works in a specific area, then the unlimited data plan will work also. Verizon does not advertise all available data plans online. If you are not seeing the one that you are interested in, give customer service a call at *611 from your cellular device or 1-800-922-0204, to see if the plan you are interested in, is still available. If you were on a particular plan and switched, there is a possibility that your previous plan is no longer available. Not all plans are available on the website.

Thanks for the answer but you did not read my entire post.  I clearly stated that the unlimited plan with the 10G limit on hot spots or 4GLTE modems does not work for rural customers.  Yes, you can consume the 10G at 4GLTE but when you run out, you are throttled to 3G service. This is useless for rural customers.  The previous 'plans' allowed customers to 'pick' the data size they needed.  This is expensive but 'perfect' for rural customers.  There are no longer options on the web site to select the data size.  My post, simply asks, Verizon to consider the plight of the rural customer.

Also there are data only plans for 4G modems available on the website. If you need to split the 4G modem into its own sub-account, then do it so it can have a different plan for the rest of the devices on your bill.
