Why with such a good network does my phone struggle at all large events like a college football game? I don't expect perfection, but I pay a premium for being with a solid carrier. In most places, it is as good or better than the competition. However, I go to a football game or other sporting event, and forget about it. I would be nice if Verizon worked harder at keeping the service level up at these events!

The event coordinator or facility management can request temporary cell towers mounted to vehicles to boost the capacity of area for the increased cellular traffic during the events. It isn't only on the carrier to determine which events they will deploy their mobile cell tower vehicles.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Why are you staring at your phone instead of watching the game?
