Signal Strength faded

I called Verizon to find out why I had to go outside to use my phone. My signal was so weak. First they told me.to buy a $300 booster. NO WAY. Then they supposedly did something  at their headquarter that strengthened my signal. It worked for.awhile but now I'm back to one bar and can't receive or make calls. Getting tired of paying for something I'm not getting.

You deserve to have the best service possible, no question about it LUACAR72. Hearing that this is not what you are getting is very concerning and we would like to learn more and further assist. What happens when you attempt to make a call on the device? Are you also having issues with text messaging and/or data? Are you noticing the issue only inside your home? my service went downhill to "weak inside" on 7/15 w. their termination of visual voice mail. they have now

moved to a new LTE service platform that does not work well w/ any phone older than Gal 5 or I6

my complaints are the same  as yours, weak coverage, cant make a call or receive a call indoors now, text messages also go slower if at all,  on 2 occasions in the last week the lip service tech support "ran a test of coverage" in my area.  the first reply is boiler plate [removed] , wanting the customer to thing their twilight zone had changed and was the problem , the second on is the same .  www.vzw.com/support/signal-concern-resolution

no admitting they have screwed the customer w/ a reduction in service area coverage, no admission they have changed some technologies in the service that handicap older phones,  No offer to reduce the billing for[removed] coverage compared to before 7/15. Now Verizon is no better than ATT, SPRINT, US Cellular, Walmart., etc.might as well switch to another provider to get [removed] service and pay less. ! this was a screwed up engineering introduction rollout of new software that has flopped and verizon is hiding these facts hoping the old phone customers will just buy in house amplifiers to get better signal , before they say [removed] you , and go else where.

My problem is similar. Callers cannot hear me. They hear dead air. I cannot use my phone inside work or home and sometimes outside. I never had. This problem with my iphone 4s.

Well cell phones were never meant to replace landlines and since it is a radio service suffers sometimes. Either deal with it, get a signal booster or a landline.
