Is there a way to find out if Verizon is gonna upgrade towers?
I live in a medium size town in SouthEastern Arizona (Sierra Vista). I generally will utilize my LTE service on phone through out the day, but during the normal week hours of 7AM-4PM there is extremely low bandwidth on the LTE network. I'm assuming that this is to a high number of cell phones connected to the tower at the same time. The area im has thousands of people around a small area and from what i believe there is only one tower we are all utilizing.
The funny part is, when I'm in the area late i can tell when everyone else is leaving the area cause the network speeds go up to a descent speed. I found a small fix to increase speeds is to disable LTE and utilize 3G cause the bandwidth is normally higher at that point. But still its less the 1 Mbps but is faster than being on the LTE signal.
It would be nice if the towers are upgraded to handle the populated area instead so there is no lowering in network speeds.
