I recently dropped my landline service with Century Link. However, they offered a service that I miss -- the first thing a caller hears is "You have reached a number that does not allow solicitations..." we tell our friends to press 1 to skip the message, but most robocalls hang up, or we hear only the end of a recording if the call comes through.
I suggest that Verizon considers a similar service. I have asked our local office to pass my request along, but haven't heard a reply. Maybe, if enough of us agree, the management will consider it.
