I am not pleased with the whole concept of having to wait the full 24 months to get a new phone. After years... I mean back to the bell atlantic mobile days I am looking to leave verizon.
The ETF... what is the formula again?
My phone contract has 12 months remaining and my wifes phone has 6 months remaining. Both are smart phones/android.
I am doing a cost analysis since our share everything plan is like 160 a month thats 80 for each phone.
Other pay as you go contracts hover around 50 a month. so I'd be saving 60 dollars each month and buying phones for about 100 bucks a piece.
To me the roi is almost figured out I just need to know what my ding will be by cancelling serivce with both etf's?
Any help would be appreciated.

For your phone - $350 less $120 for 12 months completed = $230 give or take $10 depending on exactly when you terminate service.
For your wife's phone - $350 less $180 for 18 months completed = $170 give or take $10.
