So when customer service is useless for rebates, it is better to file a complaint with your credit card or BBB?

What have others done to get things fixed?

So I have literally spent 7+ hours on the phone with customer service trying to get my rebates settled.  They messed up up my order so many times, and keep reversing my credits.  Can't waste any more time.  So do people get better results filing a claim with BBB or with their credit card?  I literally have an email from Verizon saying I would get $699.99 trade-in and they are saying they have no such email on that date.  Crazy.  It has nothing to do with the "estimated" part, they say they just do not have any record of sending me an email

CS doesn't do anything with rebates. They don't set up terms. The don't set the value on phones. If a promo is missing, they can send a form and that's it. Contacting them for this 7 hours is a waste of their time and yours.

If credits are getting reversed it's because they are considered invalid by whoever is auditing them and denying.

The screen you posted says esitmated 699.99, not guaranteed. Also says amount is subject to change. All of that is set by a team unrelated to customer service.
