Well, so far the calls have continued but I've noticed that now the incoming calls are the same businesses calling back over and over, not new ones. So I'm going to use today as a test to see if an influx of new calls starts coming i
I started answering the phone and telling each rep what was happening and not to call me anymore but that's hard to do with dozens of calls all day. If the calls stop I'll hope for the best if not, you guys are right that I'd have to change my number but I hadn't thought of getting someone's old number that could be worse so that's something to think about too.
I don't know anyone in my personal life who would play that kind of a prank on anyone so I still think it's possible that some database with my cell number got hacked.
