I switched from ATT to Verizon. My old text messages keep coming back even after deleting them. It appears its for the same dates. I receive notifications for these same messages over and over. I have restated, cleared cache, cleared data, shut off back ups, reset wireless. etc This is getting very annoying.

Are you using a back-up service on your phone as well? We ask because sometimes those services can keep delivering messages that were backed up when it notices they are no longer on the phone.
