I spoke to a Verizon customer service rep and talked about Xfinity mobile and how they have been contacting me.  They offered lower prices.  I have been a comcast/xfinity client for a while and their customer service was/is horrible.  That being said, they mobile rates are incredible. 


I understand that Verizon cannot meet the xfinity rates and the priority being one tier below.  The customer service rep came back after checking with another department and gave be a better price not equal to xfinity but a lot better to the number of 36 dollars. She told me and I asked repeatedly that they would lower my bill by altering my plan to unlimited.  I asked that this was not going to be a 6 month and done plan but a continuing plan.  I have been with Verizon 22 years. 


I get my new estimated bill and it saved me 1 dollar.  I immediately called and was told that they didn’t know what the other rep did on my account but (and they saw who it was and sent them a message) they cannot honor what the rep told me.  Basically, the rep lied to me.  LIED!!!


22 years and there was never a trust issue with Verizon. 


I am leaving Verizon today as soon as I call xfinity.  Sad 22 years meant zero.  Sad that they don’t care about 1 customer.  They have many more customers.  Sad that they LIED!. 


I am sure this will fall on deaf ears.  Maybe someone else will read it and they will not sign with Verizon.  I as usual, don’t matter to big business.

Next bills summaries aren't always accurate, especially if a plan was changed mid cycle. 

Also Xfinity mobile will be 2 tiers lower just below Verizon's own prepaid.


I know that the next bill summaries are not always accurate and could acept that IF when I didn't call to verify that the summary was infact in error.  They told me NO and the first was wrong in putting items into the account.  My new bill would be one dollar less.  


The two tiers down really doesn't mean much to me as all i care about it my bill, data and price.  If my bill is way cheaper, my data works and when I call I get an answer, thats a successful phone company.  If your talking about customer service with the tiered statement, 2 tiers down from a lie is still a lie!
