Taxes and Government Fees

My taxes and government fees increased from $12.10 to $34.14 this month. I'm a Florida resident and my regular bill didn't increase this month. Does anyone know why this would be?

Look on your detailed bill to see the breakdown of these fees. Then compare it to the breakdown of last month's fees to see what changed. Just from the numbers you have listed, I would think it is some type of one-time fee such as a new phone activation fee. When you look at the detailed bill, there would be some sort of desctiption associated with each portion of these fees.

I agree. The difference of more than $20 which is the line upgrade fee makes it a good possibility there was a phone activation recently.
