Basically Verizon has abandoned rural customers, cherry picking the well off by offering 10G plans with a phone starting at $145. That serves the phone's data plan, not the home you live in like a real hot spot.
I have both Fusion and att&t data plans. At the end of the month I will only have at&t though I would like to have kept Verizon, I can only afford at&t which works wonderfully by the way. A $40 G month data plan with a very strong signal serves up to 10 computer or iPads without a booster, and a wireless phone account with caller id, etc for another $20.
Best regards,
Dan
