I have been in contact with Verizon for several years about the poor service in my area. I have finally been told that I live in a marginal area. I have been in contact with executives assistants and they will do nothing. They are not going to upgrade the tower closest to my home was the answer I received several days ago after dropping 2 calls once again. Since I have an Iphone 6 Plus that can make phone calls over wi-fi I was told to set that up so I use wi-fi in my home in order to have better calls. Of course, there is no discount for using wi-fi for my home service. The problem I have is that Verizon is the best of the worst in my area.
