Hey there Decamp,
That is awesome that you are travelling to Puerto Rico. I might have to plan a trip there myself to escape this cold weather.
A majority of Puerto Rico is covered under our voice network. If you are roaming it'll be $0.69 per minute. Please use your device's banner as an indicator of your roaming status.
Texting and data are covered under your current plan.

Please be advised: there are no roaming fees. Even if your phone says “Roaming or Extended”, it’s part of you plan. I have had Verizon for over 12 years and never had an issue. I even lived in Puerto Rico and never had an issue or additional roaming charges. Data could be a little slow but it’s better then having nothing. Please reach out to me via Twitter @MrAlfaAdrian if you need more help.

WADD91, Thank you so much for providing information for Puerto Rico. If any questions need to be addressed you can always get all the information using our Trip Planner: https://www.verizon.com/plans/international/international-travel/trip-planner-tool/ Puerto Rico should not have roaming charges, but that can be different if someone is on a Legacy plan.
