i'm supposed to be able to block 4 numbers. when I called verizon the guy on the phone blocked the 1st # that had sent me a bunch of junk text msgs and told me how to do it myself. the last couple of days i received a couple junk texts from a TOTALLY different # from the first that was blocked. when i tried to block the 2nd one using online verizon it won't allow me to - a message comes up that says that the number i want to block is a duplicate number (of, I'm assuming, the one that was already blocked)!! they are different area codes and exchanges. i hate dealing with verizon. it always becomes such an ordeal. hopefully someone has some suggestions.
Sounds like the phone number is being spoofed.
