I am trying to change my phone number. Screen says to choose area code & prefix from drop down menu. Drop down is blank. Will not let me go further

Sometimes things don't work online as they should, so you may want to call and have them make the change over the phone. I had a similar problem that prevented me from changing data plans. By calling it got done finally.
