Upgrades?

Lately I've been searching for a reason to stay with Verizon mobile. We are due for "upgrades" on our current phones, but when i went to my local Verizon store there were only offers for new lines. So there is no incentive to stay with Verizon if they are only offering deals to new customers/lines. I'm beginning to feel another carrier might be a better option.

The BOGO deals are available for existing customers provided the customer is willing to add a new line of service to their account.

So you are willing to go to another carrier that will give you the SAME sort of deal because you are new customer? So that's being hypocritical. Also guess what, in 2 years when you upgrade again their deass will only apply the new customers/lines. Going to switch carriers again?

They don't have to have to have a new lines. They expect Verizon to give them a free $1000 phone just because. Also Verizon does have deals that don't requires new lines or service. I'm paying $22.91 for my Pixel 2XL instead of $35.41 because of a deal I got in April. Also got 2 months of YouTube TV and a free Chromecast and a Google Home.

I know there are other deals available sometimes. I am a recipient of one as well. I was just referring to the BOGO deals which seem to always require one line be new in order to qualify for the promotion.

yeah I know but the OP mentioned the new line requirement for existing customers in their complaint too as well as new customer promos. As I said if they go to a new carrier and they'll be happy to use a new customer promo that long term customers of that carrier can't use and yet they have no issue with it then. As I said that's hypocritical

So you want to get a new customer deal while ranting about Verizon and new customers... that's not how it works.

24 months later it'll be the same story on a forum covered in pink.

Thank you for being a Verizon customer and we really do appreciate your business, Smitty25_7. We truly don’t want to see you go and we offer a lot of promotions, and they are always available to everyone. The current promotion has certain requirements and we are not able change the terms and conditions of the offer. However there are promotions that you may sign up for that may fit your needs. https://www.verizonwireless.com/promos/back-to-school/
