How long before your contract is up can you upgrade your phone? Or do you have to wait until the exact date that it is up?
If your contract began prior to 1/1/12, you can upgrade at subsidized prices after completing 20 months of your two-year contract. If your contract began 1/1/12 or later, you have to complete the entire two-year contract before being eligible to upgrade at subsidized prices. You an upgrade at any time by paying full retail price for your phone or by buying one from somewhere like ebay or swappa.
24 months for a discounted price (or you can upgrade at full price any time) You can always buy a used phone from eBay or swappa.
