If I have a phone with the $15 Vcast Vpak on it, can this remian if I get a new phone, like the Env Touch?

Unfortunately no, you will have to select from one of the required data plans.

I just switched to a rogue and was able to keep my VCAST VPACK..  But i had to go into a Verizon Store, They told me to never cancel it and I could keep it as long as I wanted. I did this in 04/18/10. You have to go to the store.

It depends what plan you currently have.  Legacy calling plan customers subscribing to V CAST VPak and/or V CAST Mobile TV Select may keep these features, unless upgrading to an HTML device. Customers must move to a Nationwide plan and choose an available V CAST feature, if upgrading.

For example:

• Can Keep Existing Plan / Feature Example:
  • If an existing Nationwide customer, with the $15 grandfathered VPak feature, wishes to upgrade to an Enhanced Multimedia Phone (e.g. Samsung Rogue), then the customer can remain on their plan and keep the grandfathered VPak feature.
• Cannot Keep Existing Plan / Feature Example:
  • If a customer on an older plan (e.g. America's Choice), with the $15 grandfathered VPak feature, wishes to upgrade to an 3G Multimedia Phone (e.g. Samsung Rogue), then the customer must switch to a current calling plan and select a new data plan.

Yes, I was on the National Calling plan because I upgraded the Main phone on the plan in November before all Data Requirements. Then I upgraded my phone in April and was grandfathered in.

i have a quick question about this.

i was recently put on the vcast vpack well just today. i only called cuz i wanted unlimited data and she gave me this package when i looked at my plan.

my question is, do i get the vcast videos too?

cuz it says vcast vpak but im not sure.

I am surprised they just put you on it because it is no longer available. I was able to keep mine because I was grandfathered in. With vcast vpack there are free videos but some do cost extra, but it will tell you.

long story short, was unhappy with the 25mb 9.99 data plan, was planning on cancelling and going to virgin mobile.. they offered me the vcast vpak for an extra 5 dollars.

I am glade for you, keep it as long as you can it is the same as having unlimited data ( which is $30 a month)except you do not get Mobil email for free, but you get vcast, you can watch TV clips, videos, and full length TV programs just make sure it says is $.00 the only thing i have really seen coast extra is music videos.
