Verizon charging me for their mistake

I have been with Verizon since September, 2019 and have had nothing but trouble. I immediately signed up for bill pay, through my bank, CHASE. Verizon has not been crediting my account and continues to tell me that I owe money, even though I have called several times and provided all of the information needed. I have even faxed them the proof of payment. My phone service has been interupted multiple times, I have been put on hold for over 45 minutes multiple times, and I have been charged reconnection fees. I even had to go to an Office Depot to fax the "proof" Verizon needed becuse I don't have a fax machine and Verizon would not take a scanned email. Verizon says that I owe them over 700.00 for their mistake and they have 14 days to look at my proof of payment documents before turning my phones back on. At this point, all I want is to get my services reconnected so that I can disconnect all services. I will never use Verizon again and will tell everyone I know not to go with Verizon. The service is horrible.

I've had Chase before and they're awful. When I was unemployed years ago, they were charging fees on an empty checking account. Left them and never looked back.

Our Verizon account is under autopay with no issue. We have it signed up directly from My Verizon. Sounds more like your bank is the problem.

So sorry to hear about the discrepancy over your bank's bill pay payments, Bobbiejoa1. We would never want you to leave us and it's unfortunate to learn that we aren't reflecting the payments despite your bank showing the payments. We definitely don't want you to feel this way. We're happy to further check on this for you and if you are having service concerns, we can help with that too. Please check the Private Message we have sent.
