Ok, stupid question time.
I have Verizon and am sick of getting overcharged, bottom line I will be getting out and porting to Page Plus.
I know I will incur an ETF with Verizon, but I can't afford them anymore.
If I port out to Page Plus, and for some reason I am unable to pay the Verizon ETF, is there any way they can interrupt my Page Plus service? Or would it just go to a collection agency?

Really? That's acceptable? No wonder why companies charge so much.

I'm not saying it's acceptable, or that I don't plan on paying it. I just don't want to get cut off by Page Plus if it did happen.

Your account will go to collections and show on your credit report.
THe ETF you don't want to pay, to payment for your phone. From now on, if you use prepaid, you will have to buy your phones at full price.

Being that Page Plus "uses" VZW towers, that's the main reason I was asking.

There is no effect on your number. Just your credit.

Something to keep in mind. If you purchased your phone on a payment, and there is a balance owed on the phone, VZW can block that phone from being activated on another carrier, even it is an MVNO off Verizon.

I understand that. But paying 40.00 just to have a smartphone, then another 45.00 for data is not working, especially when I can go to page plus and get 3 gb of data for 39.00.
