My husband and I recently got a Verizon Visa Card in order to accrue reward dollars to use on our Verizon bill. Everything worked great and I was able to track our purchases and reward dollars on the Verizon Visa Card app in real-time. Then my husband lost his card and we had to call for new ones. Since then, we are unable to see any rewards. We can still see our purchases in real-time but we show $0.00 Verizon dollars. I have called both synchrony and Verizon a few times and am told we just need to wait for a few months of billing cycles and we should be able to see them show up then. The Verizon representative I spoke to today spent an hour looking for a resolution and that was all she could find even with internal communication issues. But there is no guarantee that they will show up. This is unacceptable!!!!! I saw where this has been an issue with others and it obviously has to do with the new Synchrony issued card not linking to the Verizon account. This should be a simple fix via collaboration and whoever is in charge needs to get their heads out of their butts and FIX IT!!!!
