Voicemail application issues Galaxy S5

Voicemail app not working at all. Asks for a sign in to access vm, when I try to open the app it just makes my phone screen continually blink on and off. Help.

Let's get this resolved! Have you ever been able to use this app before? Are you still able to dial *86 to retrieve your Voicemails?

Yes, I was able to use it just fine before the last android update. I've never done the*86,but I am able to long press 1 to go to the voicemail though.
