My mom is the owner of this account. Here's the situation, she is in the Nursing home under sedation with breathing tube. We did get her account on suspension for 3 months. But, we don't think she'll be coming home and want to cancel account. Verizon says need poa, come on, she's under sedation and you think an atty is going to give us poa right now, not knowing what may happen. So, since Verizon can't cancel, they won't be getting anymore $$$$ come Feb. of next year when the suspension is up. I am soooo glad I DON'T have this company. Wow, they make thing sooo difficult. Plus I have to add, fighting for poa with siblings and the $$$ it will costs I do not have. SMH

I'm pretty sure any communications company will require a POA to cancel services in someone else's name............
