"If you cancel a line of Service, or if we cancel it for good cause, during its contract term, you'll have to pay an early termination fee. If your contract term results from your purchase of an advanced device, your early termination fee will be $350 minus $10 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. Otherwise, your early termination fee will be $175 minus $5 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month's billing cycle"
For the first 2 lines:
Say you were to cancel your service on March 1st that would be 19 months completed
If they are smartphones [$350-($10*19)]=$160 per line so that's approx $320 ETF for first 2 lines
For the second 2 lines.
Say you were to cancel your service on March 1st that would be 12 months completed
If they are smartphones [$350-($10*12)]=$230 per line so that's approx. $460 ETF for second 2 lines.
So assuming they are all smartphones the ETF would total $780

This is quite concerning MarcusS! We don't want to see you leave our Verizon Wireless family; what has you thinking about this? We'd be happy to help keep you on the nation's best network. To answer your question, the fees to cancel depend on the type of device and when the most recent upgrade was completed on all lines.

Just too expensive. Almost $300 a month is not feasible.

Can you change your plan to a smaller data package? Remove the insurance if you are paying for it? Can the others on your account assist you in paying for the current monthly bill amount?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I need unlimited text. Minutes for calling not quite that important. Data package required.

You don't state HOW MUCH data is required. Exactly which plan are you on now? That might help.
