Because we have such Poor service in and around my home, and not getting any support or answers from Verizon. I'm forced to make a decision. 1- Verizon wants me to buy and install a $400 plus Network Extender. BUT they won't promise that it willeven work. OR 2- Switch to another wireless service company. I don't know what other customers are doing about their poor service. But I just can't believe Verizon has become a company that has their customers supplying equipment so that they can provide better service... Verizon needs to realize they have a problem and fix it or supply Network Extenders to customers or just lose them. I hope I'm still around to see what Verizon will do.

Get a phone with wifi calling and forget about the extender. Problem solved.

Then weigh the cost of a new plan that includes wifi calling, the $400 network extender, or moving to a different company. Choices rather straightforward,do what is best for you.

We want you to be happy with your service, busterhe84. Have you turned on Advanced Calling on your iPhone 6?
Go to Settings
– Phone
– WiFi calling.
Then go to
- Settings and Cellular –
Cellular data options.
- Enable LTE – voice and data.
Once you do this you will be all set.

Yes, That's what I said. I'm forced to make a decision and anyway you
look at it the customer always ends up paying extra for something that is
advertised and was promised in the beginning. Believe me I know it's not
that difficult of a choice and I should just do what I need to do, keep my
mouth shut and move on. I would if that was the right answer. That's the
real problem I'm not getting the right answers from Verizon even after
several calls Tech support and many trips to different stores. I have try
everything from new Sims cards, Factory resets and yes even different
service plans. I'm still left with poor to no service in and around my
home. I feel that Verizon is giving me the run around and won't even look
into a problem they have in this area and they just rather have the
customer buy a Network Extender pay more or lose them. They don't
understand or won't listen when I tell them that I live less than 2 miles
from their new tower and 3 miles from another one. I don't think I'm
asking for too much to look into what happen with our service...
So what happen to " Can You Hear Me Now? " or maybe it should be " Are
You Listening Now? " .

Could it be a SIM card - yes, we have seen that.
Could it be as simple as a factory reset - yes, we have seen that
I have seen how they handle complaints like your in the past. Never wait for them to come look and never count on the status changing.
You never said if you are actually dropping calls vs. just noticing a low signal. If it is a low signal but everything is working that is not unusual with LTE. If you are dropping calls, you know what your choices are. Pick one and move on. I am not sure the Advanced Calling option above will work for you since you said you don't have Wifi calling with your current plan and both are related in a way in needing advanced calling. So if you can't get wifi calling on your 6S I doubt you can get VoLTE calling. -- Please confirm though why you can't get wifi calling -- I assume that means you are prepaid.

Yes I'm back on prepaid, after trying and testing postpaid service. What
Verizon said, was "because of how they programed and routed prepaid calls that
prepaid service was a lot less reliable. Of course I upgraded and
switched to more expensive plan. But, believe it or not the postpaid
service was even worst.
Most of the time I get (no service) and if and when I get service the
signal -101db to -109db. (That's 1 bar ) I Can not make or receive any
calls. People can't even get to my voicemail to leave messages. It sounds
as though the phone is forward. (beep beep beep -goes to busy ) I have to
walk down the street to use my phone and to get texts. The best signal
reading I ever got was -69 (which is pretty good ) but that was in a
Verizon store... Many times my Messaging and voicemail show up hours late.
Ps I was told a week ago there's supposed to be a ticket that was put
in. I just keep get texts that they will get to in 24hrs than 48hrs and
so on. I just hope they don't charge me too much..lol
