When should I switch

I have been wanting to switch from an 8GB shared plan to unlimited.  I will lose my employee discount but will be getting a Veteran discount on the unlimited plan.  I want to wait until I know I will get the new discount before I switch so I dont end up paying an extra $25 on my first new bill.  The discount was approved this week (documents accepted/approved).  My billing cycle ends in 10 days.  Could I safely switch at the end of this billing cycle?  If not how will I know when its safe to switch?

Once you see the Veteran's discount on your bill with your current plan, I would assume you could switch and the discount would appear on your first bill with unlimited.
