Ever since April 29, I have had horrible 4G LTE and text messaging coverage in the White Marsh, MD area. Neither work. When I go to work in downtown Baltimore, my coverage is fine. Was a cell tower damaged? When will it be fixed? This is horribly frustrating.

Hi cwwierschke - Let's bring back the reliable service that you deserve! Are other users having a similar experience in the same area? Are voice calls working as normal? Is this happening indoors and out? I look forward to getting this resolved!
Thank you,

I can make phone calls just fine from my house, but texts take forever to
send (if they send at all) and I'm constantly offline or switched to 3G
service. This happens in all areas of my house, both inside and outside.
The service works perfectly at work in downtown Baltimore. I only have this
issue in the White Marsh area.
This is most frustrating because I've never had these issues until the end
of April. I've used Verizon since 2004 at this location.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that I've used for one year. It just received
the latest Droid update. I was hoping that would help things, but it
didn't.
Can you think of any other reason I would have these issues, and more
importantly, a fix to them? Thanks,
Chad Wierschke (410-274-9818)

Thank you for sharing these details! I'm glad to hear your device is working in other areas, but we definitely want it to work where you need it as well. Which zip are you in? Do any other VZW devices have the same trouble? Does this improve your experience at all? http://vz.to/1srh8di

Cwwierschke,
Thank you for that info. It may be the key to figuring all of this out! I've found often times simply getting a free replacement SIM card at a Direct Store http://bit.ly/3SdsA fixes these kinds of crazy issues. There are no official outages at this time, but we want your service to go back to what it was before April 29!

cwwierschke, I am also in the White Marsh area, on my 3rd S4,honestly living in this area for 7years,have had 4 other models of cell phone no problems at all. Then I purchased my first S4 the end of March, worked great for a month and a half till kit kat was downloaded then the fun began dropped calls , no 4G,no mobile data and not sending text. I feel Verizon and Samsung are covering up this issue with the 4.4.2 update. I've gone through hell to the point of contacting the BBB, I then received a call from Verizon executive offices promising to call after they find out what the issues really were. They called two weeks later stating I was in a very low coverage area. BS if that were the case I would've had problems with every phone I've owned .
It is this Galaxy model with this particular update , neither Verizon or Samsung want to take responsibility for selling something that has just hasn't performed correctly . We pay entirely to much money to have to go through the routine crap they ask such as remove the battery, sim card , factory reset and all that other crap.

I spoke with someone at Verizon and they acknowledged that my reception was irregular at my house. Ever since that phone call, my reception has been perfect. I can call, text, and stay on the 4G network. I think they corrected something in the network. I'm good to go again.
