I went to my local Verizon store and pre-ordered a new IPad Air 2 (16GIG) on Monday, 10-27-14. The tentative shipping date is 11-14-14. Went home, started dreaming about how much "stuff" I wanted to load on the tablet, and decided I might need more memory. Went back to store on Thursday (10-30-14) and asked my salesman if I could change my order to the 64GIG model. He said the order cannot be changed or cancelled! The item is not even going to ship for another 2 weeks! They have not charged my credit card, nothing has been done on the order - it is just a entry in some computer. I find it hard to believe, in this day and age, that there is not SOME way to delete or change this order. It's not like they would be losing money - I am trying to give them $100 MORE money! Verizon needs to get their act together, and HELP customers rather than frustrate them. This is the kind of BS that drives customers away!

Hi 1and2!
I can happily alleviate the confusion! The order can be canceled however it can not be changed. Once it is cancelled you will need to place a new order for the 64GB model. Please advise if you would like me to cancel the order.
Thanks,

Call customer Care and cancel the order. You are not Giving Verizon $100 more at all. You are giving Apple $100 more. As for driving customers away, you better check your facts. Verizon gains more and more all the time, way more than they lose

Thank You for your response. I would be very happy if this order could be cancelled. I have already placed another separate order for the 64GB model at the local store, so I now have 2 iPads on pre-order. It would be very helpful if you could cancel the first order. What information do you need to accomplish this?
