Why do the employee's in << location removed to comply with >> office just tell flat lie's to you?? Ever time I go in to upgrade..it's ONE LIE AFTER ANOTHER AND WHEN I CALL THEM ON IT.. it's more lie's to cover up the first one. Then they think you stupid and will try to dump all those EXPENSIVE, Overpriced accessories on you..come on stop the Lie's..the phones are good..but the employee's are crap !!
When my time is up this time...I will be just like the Vonage commercial...""this is my last inflated bill""
I am really surprised that the store manager doesn't get a grip on those people....but then again..he probaly makes a commission off their inflated sales.....INFLATED SALES....so stop lying , stop ripping folks off...verizion just had a major Lawsuit settled...you know..it goes back to the LIES you people tell.
Thanks..just wondered why...

Sounds like a third party reseller. Not a VZW corporate store.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the two local Verizon stores I go to for help have ALWAYS given me excellent service with no lies at all. In fact, just the opposite, I have, on occasion, wanted to purchase certain accessories for various phones, and they have told me that I did not need them. No, I'm quite pleased with my Verizon stores AND their associates.

The Verizon stores I visit as well, in the Huntington, WV (Pullman Square store, specifically) area give me excellent service as well. Any time I go in there the people are very nice. I think some stores may have a few bad apples that need to be weeded out. But in general, I really enjoy Verizon and hope to be a customer for many years to come.

Verizon employees sales people first and customer service workers second. I went in for a new SIM card and the customer next to me got suckered into giving up his unlimited data plan for the capped family shared. I didn't have the heart to interrupt the sale. The guy didn't even go in to address his data plan. He went into to get his tablet looked at! I would never recommend buying anything straight through Verizon. Go to Wirefly, Letstalk, and Amazon Wireless and compare prices. You can usually get an upgrade a lot cheaper there then through Verizon. And you don't have to worry about anyone trying to sell you extra crap you don't need.

If you look up at the first post, the moderator removed the Verizon Wireless location. Yet no action was taken on your post when you provided positive feedback about a location. So I guess it is a violation to talk negatively about a specific location and will be subject to moderation, but you can praise a location all you want? Verizon needs to get their act together and stop with the double standards.

if i told the world that YOU were a liar, with no specifics about the situation, would you think it's fair? it's one thing to claim poor customer service or describe a bad experience. it's another thing to flat out call an entire store liars, with no basis or details. i'm guessing that's why the post was edited. the poster basically called an entire store full of employees liars, and then basically stated that the manager was unethical, without giving any specifics about the experiences. i'd say it's fair to remove the location.

Actually according to your standards, the entire post should have probably been removed. He was ranting out of frustration, I understand that. But for the moderator to remove the location because of negative feedback, yet keep the location of a post with positive feedback is questionable. Maybe we need to ask grayrider for specific details to justify his rant.
I feel his pain though. I've walked into Verizon Wireless stores on numerous occasions and been bombarded by all of the extra stuff they are trying to sell. And I hate being treated like a low level user who has no idea about technology and what I need from the vendor.
The bottom line is that the store employees are sales people first and foremost and take guidance from the management. If the management tells the employees to upsell Bluetooth headsets, then that's what they're going to push. I've seen this firsthand almost everytime I've walked into the Verizon Wireless store. They're doing their jobs. But it is annoying when you go in for a specific reason and you get sidetracked because customer service is trying to sell you something else.
