Why does the Tethering Subscription Status Fail?

How do I allow my wife and daughters phones to tether.

I have no problem with my phone.

But, when I try to tether my wife's phone it does the "Checking Subscription Status" and gives ab error saying that a subscription is required.

Can someone explain how to clear this issue?

Is there a setting I, the primary account holder needs to change?

If, so please give me step by step.

Thanks

Third call was the charm!

Apparently four years ago when we first came on board with Verizon, we had a block placed on the two phones.

It is amazing that the guy I talked to today is a "Trainee"!

Must have been listening to his instructors

What plan is your wife and daughter on? Not all plans come with tethering.

As far as I know we are all on the same plan..

I am not sure how we could be on different plans when we hav one bill for all four phones.

When I call in the people are clueless as to what is going on...

The name of the plan is a clue to whether or not the mobile hotspot feature was included in the data plan for each line or if it was a separate add-on to each line.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
