Why is it always so hard to reach a Verizon Wireless Representative...I am so frustrated!

I am having problems with my phone.  And as usual, I cannot reach a representative on the telephone.  When I call, I get the message "we are experiencing unusually high call volumes" and they recommend going on line.  So I go online, and "no representatives are available".  You cannot even send Verizon an email.  It's like they want to block you from reaching them.  Are they that understaffed?  What's the deal?  I can barely use my Droid, and I cannot reach anybody to fix the problem.  How can Verizon be so popular and have such lousy customer service?   It doesn't make sense.

It's terrible, really really bad. At&t is way better at the moment customer service wise, but in truth verizon and at&t are true money whores and both stick it to you till it hurts and both do it till they lose so many customers they can't no more. Then they start some multimillion dollar ad campaign, basically saying they are better and please give them another try and the cycle starts all over again. Oh, or they get sued, like they have and lost so many many many times before, right now most phone companies are breaking a minimum of fifteen laws on billing, charging, advertizing and services.

Every time I've ever called I've gotten the high volume blah, blah, blah and I stay on the line.  I've had to call twice this past week because of an issue with my Edge agreement and I did not wait longer than a couple of minutes for an agent.

I tried to chat now for 15min. and said the hell with it and started reading this stuff out of boredom. No, I got super, kick butt internet.

I've got no probelms (right now) and had never had to wait for more than a few minutes when on the phone, but I think ox1111 is unable to get anyone.

Are they trying to reach us on the phone and have been holding for a long time? I'm curious, can you name one law they are currently breaking? I really have no concept of the law when it comes to billing, marketing, or advertising.

I see on post here where Service Rep is calling out to you and you do not answer,,, Let me ask 1 thing Elk2112 ... how far are you from one of the Store Locations >>> if you are having so much trouble reaching them on-line ( and I am sorry bu like most businesses ..they all have a time frame where call volume is higher .. and if there is when you are trying to reach them ,,you are like alot ,,,waiting in line ) have you tried going to the Retail Store and handling this with a Service Rep there ???

Just a suggestion to ease the frustration...
