Re: Why is there a separate charge for Corporate email when I pay for a specific amount of data? Why does Verizon care how I use the data I paid for?

Just because this makes sense to me...

If you only use outlook email, dump Good and just sync the outlook mail.  If your company is paying extra for the service. Submit the idea to end service with Good and use standard messaging (free) and outlook mail, (free).   Companies still give bonuses to employees who craft money saving ideas.  It seems dumping Good mobile will save ypur company thousands a year without loss of productivity by using free applications.

( I'm stubborn about not paying for an App if there is a free and functional option )

Outlook mail only is not as secure on the device.  Some industries must have high level of security.  Any lapses results in large fines and losses.  You do not want to be the decision maker who saved $20,000 but ended up costing the company $10,000,000 In fines.   In my industry, this really happens.  We have been fined for lost laptops, even when it was never found, but could not confirm it did not contain any sensitive data.  We must report every incident, or be fined for not reporting.

Good point.  I imagine government contract business are very strict.

SInce I have 2 step verification on my email because I've been hacked 3 times, I should say it's pretty important.

It could very well be legal for verizon/vzw to charge you. In this day and age too many corporations don't care if it's unethical. If it's not illegal then it's full steam ahead.
