WiFi hotspot reduced to 600kbs on tablet

Just to start off what the [removed] were you thinking Verizon? You need to work some deals like TMobile did for some apps if you want to pull this [removed] . Im on the road daily so when I stop and want to enjoy my show, I should be able to . 600kbps isn't enough to stream on most platforms unless you want to watch a pixelated mess. I and many others shouldn't be having to deal with this. I am not buying a new tablet just to add a line it wasn't until you upgraded this service to a "better beyond unlimited" that I had this issue. I am not loyal to any company I'll pay the rest of my phone off and switch if y'all want to put corporate greed among your paying customers.

Profanity removed as required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service.

in that case you might want to change plan where you can pay for data you want to use rather than unlimited data plan.it be more money but will or might work for you .

What are you talking about? they did this because people weren't upgrading their tablets just using WiFi hotspot on phone to get the same speeds. Why would I pay even more you know how much direct TV, cw app hbo, use? No thanks I already pay enough I'm on the road what part of that aren't you understanding? I tried going into your store today and getting this resolved but you want me to pay 20$ to add a tablet talk about greed then the tablet promo expired even though the store rep told me it was still going on and he had me saved a tablet. I am weighing my options now.

DUST2332-

I can understand how having hotspot data while on the go is convenient for you. Our plans are comparable to other carriers.

On the Beyond Unlimited plan, if you are streaming on your tablet or smart phone, you are not limited to any speed reduction, unless you are in a congested area; then you may notice that your speeds are slowed temporarily if you've reached 22GB (per device, not total for the account). If you are using the hot spot on your device you are limited to 15GB of 4G data per device, per bill cycle. This isn't intended to hinder your experience, but to ensure that our network is running smooth at all times for our customers.

The Go Unlimited is a budget friendly plan for those customers who like the comfort of unlimited but do not use a mobile hotspot or stream music/video often. It does not include 4G hotspot data.

Ya you offer 15gb of hotspot but what you don't tell your customers is you can use 15gb of hotspot on day 1 and 7gb of phone data on day 2 and you could be deprioritized but then you are allowed 15 additional gb of hotspot but your actual data on the phone could be slow

berlinfire Our goal is to make sure you have accurate information. Our website does provide the details regarding our plans and how they work. I'm including a link so you can see the difference between the 15 GB Hotspot and 22 GB on your device. Plan link: http://vz.to/2kkiKNB

I asked this question when i came back to yiu guys from Sprint. They said it was seperate. Sprints hotspot data never counts towards phone data. I could use 15gb of hotspot data on day 1 and the only thing that would effect me is my hotspot data would slow down not my phone data. Please point out where in that link it states that hotspot data counts towards cell data? I just co tasted at&t cause I thought about changing to them and they said if you use hotspot it does not count against the 22gb that could slow me down. I have not saw any of this on your site. You guys just say there are 15 gb of hotspot data included. I feel if people knew this they would never sign up. Why don't you just say Your first 22gb you can use how you would like then after that you can be deprioritized but you get 15gb of 4g hotspot speed. That isn't as tricky as you scam artists

I understood the terms of the plan and I didn't have a problem with the allocation of the data usage.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
