Will I be charged up front when pre-ordering a phone?

When you have a upgrade available and you go to pre order a phone do you have to pay anything upfront that day or are you charged the day the phone is shipped out?

Upgrading can be fun! We want you to have the details that you need. When pre-ordering a device, you will not be charged until the device ships. We suggest having the funds available within five days of your ship date. We hope that you get the device that you like.

You will be charged the taxes at the time of purchase (actually when the phone is shipped if it is not in stock) and any fee for early delivery.
