This is the worse company in the world. I got throttled by the because i was grandfather in with unlimited and the strong armed me out of that plan by not letting me have Internet access.. They say that they don't... they lie, they do.. They gave me a 5GB plan and get my bill today and they charged me a data overage charge told me they gave me a 4gb plan. These people are criminals. By far the worse company i have ever been associated with. counting down my months before I can switch and possibly thinking about paying 500 to get away from these crooks.

The throttling only occurs if you have a 3G only device.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Also there's no carrier in existence with truly unlimited data. Sprint's is only available on Sprint towers.

Actually T-Mobile has unlimited data http://www.t-mobile.com the cost is $20 per month.
Sprint is $80 for life with them. However Sprint & T-Mobile are not built out like Verizon and AT&T but they should be caught up in a few more years.

You are talking two different situations. 1) unlimited data. (means just that, unlimited)
2) Throttled data. ( Still unlimited data but slowed down. Slowed down is still unlimited data)

Completely true but might as well have dial up if you're going to be throttled Verizon still has unlimited data no throttling, I consider that truly unlimited.

You did see the above link from Ann154?
Verizon throttles 3G speeds which many Verizon customers use.
Because of the spectrum deal they made they don't throttle 4G speeds.
Verizon throttles. In fact unlike other carriers on 4G they throttle when there is congestion on the towers. But will bring speed back up when the traffic is less.
