constant DNS problems

Recently I've been having connectivity issues with my MiFi Jetpack 6620L.  At first when I ran troubleshooting it said "Access point/server was at fault" so I thought it was my wireless card just getting old.  I hooked up a Linksys USB adapter and started running that.  It no longer gives me the "access point error message" but now says that "DNS servers are not responding" I have tried manually setting to open DNS, I flushed my DNS and ran all the ipconfig options for fixing common DNS errors. It has gotten to the point where I can't spend 10 minutes without my internet connection dropping. Super frustrating, any help is appreciated.

Side note, it wasn't always this way, I used to run the MiFi awesome with 3 bars of 4g LTE, so my area gets great service.

Have you used the reset button on the bottom of the Jetpack to reset it? We usually recommend that you power the device off, remove the battery and SIM card, wait a minute, reinstall the battery and SIM card, power up, and use the reset button. You might also try disabling IPv6 just in case.

That was the very first thing I tried, it does nothing. I sat on the phone with Verizon and they were very helpful, even created a network ticket to examine the area for any faulty network connections.  The only response I got was they were unable to duplicate the disconnections on the street level and so they chalked it up to some interference that is happening from something  like a microwave. So basically I'm just stuck with no help and an unreliable connection.

I'll try different channels on 2.4 and try 5ghz as well to see if anything changes.

Yes, do try 2.4 channels 1, 6 or 11, one usually works best, 5Ghz might work too. If it’s RFI then you should be able to move the Jetpack to another location to see if it works better. Do you have a laptop you can connect to the Jetpack with, and then kill all the power in your house to see if it’s something in your house doing it?  Is there a central burglar/fire alarm?
