my account was suspended and verizon won't reconnect

My account was suspended because i had an outstanding balance, and i paid the the "amount due now" and it said it would automatically reconnect my service within 15 minutes to an hour. It has been almost 3 and a half hours and they still have not reconnected my phone and overtime i try to call verizon it switches me to payment services and is just an automated recording. How can I get a hold of customer service or how can i find out why they aren't reconnecting my line?

You can try using Live Chat if your able to access it on the VZW website. Do you have a confirmation number for the payment as well? The VZW number is (800) 922-0204.
