"Share Everything" = Share Our Customers

There are two options on the VZW website: Share Everything, and Prepaid.

The point is that Verizon is implementing changes that will eventually trickle down to all customers regardless of temporary bubbles of safety.  "Be Prepared."

That's true; new customers have only two choices, Share Everything and Prepaid.  Current customers have their plans grandfathered and can make changes to those plans as they need to, such as increasing/decreasing minutes/texts/data or adding lines.

Um yeah most of us all kind of know that already. Unlike some people that come here 6-8 months after new things are implemented and are shocked by the changes. Once again I'll worry about changes when they are announced not before.

Not only that, but at some point in the future, the Share Everything plan will be changed and you will lose your grandfathered status in that plan. "Be Prepared."

This is correct. you can call the 800 number and advise them you want to switch to a Tiered Plan, or go into the local store although the local stores will most likely lie to you and tell you that you need to go Share Everything.

There's no way that we would want to share you with anyone, AMulqueen! You're a part of the Verizon family. I've got some great news for you! You're not required to change to our Share Everything Plan. If you like your current plan, you can keep it. If you accept a discounted device, you'll need to change to a tiered data plan. For example, we offer 2GB for $30.00 per month.

If unlimited data is important to you and you want to keep it. You can pay the full cost for your next phone and keep unlimited data. I hope that this addresses your concerns. Have an awesome day!
