Depending on how long ago it was deleted, you might be able to call in and speak with technical support who can submit a request to remove from the pending voicemail deletions "que".

I am not sure of the timeframe just know that once they are deleted they do show as deleted, but are actually pending deletion on the server for a period of time before they are completely removed/erased.....

Suenden, we know how important it is to have a valuable voicemail message kept in a safe place. If a message has been deleted and you wish to have it recovered, there may be an option to assist within 24-hours if the deletion is still pending. This can be something we can work through together if you wish to contact us directly at 800-922-0204.

I recently upgraded my iphone 6plus from 10.3.3 to 11.0.3.  I now see many older voicemails have disappeared.  Is there a way to recover these?  How can I ensure my voicemails don't get automatically deleted?  Thanks.

There is no option to assist. I accidentally deleted a very important voicemail. I did not receive the usual prompt at the end of listening to my messages to access saved or deleted messages, and I was kicked off the phone by the system. I called back immediately and did not receive a prompt to access deleted messages. I called Verizon tech support immediately after that. Almost 1 hour later and I have gotten nowhere. They cannot retrieve the message once the call has been terminated. So, if, like me, you were kicked off the system, you are out of luck. I was told that if you are still on the call in which you accidentally deleted a message, you can still retrieve it. I'm going to leave myself fake messages to see if it is true. Given that the system kicked me off, I doubt it. The lack of backup process is absolutely asinine and does not reflect that people accidentally delete calls all the time. I have been on the fence about my Verizon account for a while now - and I have had Verizon for well over a decade - this is not helping their case.

We understand your concern to find your delted messages. Once deleted, there is no way for us to recover lost voicemails. Messages are permanently delted from the voicemail network. If the messages are saved and you can access them, CBW productions has options to move your voice messages to CD, digital MP3, or cassette. Find out more by heading to our FAQ's at, https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/voice-mail-faqs/ . Once here, scroll down to voicemail archival #4.

If Verizon had a "Dislike" thumb-down option, I would have selected it.

Considering the number of possibilities that a message can be accidentally erased, including a glitch or interruption in Verzon's service, it is somewhat irresponsible for Verizon to not offer something like a 12-hr retrieval window.

This is ridiculous!  Why Verizon, would you eliminate the option to go back to listen to the messages deleted during your call?!!!  People delete messages accidentally ALL THE TIME, EVERY DAY.  I just accidentally deleted a voicemail with the contact for a person who hit my car, now I'm literally out of luck, as I get so many calls everyday on this line for work and would have to call hundreds of people to find who i am looking for.  I am FUMING right now!
