So, about a week or two ago, my nine year old daughter started receiving random texts from unknown numbers @vzwpix.com adressess. Most of them were replies terrible as "who is this", "stop texting", then then profanities started showing up and I looked for a way to block senders. I could not find a way to block incoming texts from @vzwpix.com. All I could do is go online and hit change number under manage device. I went through with the number change. I thought all was ok until the phone just quit working. I restarted and tried to make calls and texts but nothing works. I then called tech support and got someone after 10 minutes of navigating the waste of time known as the voice menu. I went through the process of turning of wifi, mobile data, resetting wireless settings, andf other things multiple times. I probably turned off and on the phone 8 times. Then I was on hold for 40 minutes. I hung up. Called back and hung out with the voice menu some more. I eventually got ahold of another person and we repeated these things actions for another 20 minutes. The number was also changed again. Daughters phone still doesn't work. And now, my wife's phone is starting to receive these texts. Well, where do I go from here?
Fishkilll, it's difficult to hear of your experience, especially when a little one is involved. Is there any update to this?
Verizon didn't and will no do anything to Stop Spam Text.
