Alternative to Thunderbird for Windows

Never had problems with Tbird before, but it's downloading the same emails over and over. (I got a new profile, everything they said to do.) Just fed up. What else do people use on Windows?

I also lost months and months of email on the server, while I was checking my spam at the AOL website. Maybe it's just time to get a new email source altogether.

Thanks.

Ah the days of using Thunderbird and Opera Mail (uses thunderbird interface) Eudora etc. are sadly coming to an end.

personally you are better off using GMail or Outlook (hotmail) which are free and very rarely down. You can also set them up in the settings to grab email from other services.

verizon (oath) now owns Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail and personally they are terrible compared to the others I mention above.

I think the problem was with the AOL mail.  I had double download on Thunderbird on my PC and the Samsung Email app on my phone.
