Please verizon why this keep happening to me. Everytime I am forced to change my website password. The email on my android phone and tablet does not work any more

I have called tech support and went to a Verizon store no luck. What is wrong.

I have a Samsung note 3.

You changed the password to match on your android as well?  You may have to shutdown and restart the android, because it has a running service that may keep using the password that it had when it started up.

I think I said I went to the Verizon store and they did all of this. No luck.

Remember your talking to peers.  We have no idea what you or verizon have already tried.

p.s  My phone is a android (Samsung Galaxy S5)  and doesn't have this problem.

If the password contains special characters, try removing those.

Tell us where it fails and messages you get. 

Lett ing us know all your incoming and outgoing server settings (minus personal info) might help.

What app are you using.  You say able to sign into the APP?  But not the email app.  This doesn't sound like the email app that comes with the phone.

I believe it comes with Android, althought might have been added by Samsung or even Verizon, and mine says its at 5.0.0.0200

Note the simulator shows Yahoo, but just select Verizon instead.

DON"T USE IT UNLESS YOU MUST.  Some people must because they are overseas.  Their are no settings for that app for email that I know of. it uses the Webmail interface.  For me it doesn't seem to be asking for userid and password again, simply using the MYFIOS userid and password.

Is your FIOS USERID the same as your Email USERID?

A complete guess, the app needs to be forced to stop and the verizon account on the android phone may need to be removed and recreated.
